No Trespassing on
Golf Course

All 18 holes of the RVR golf course will be fully open beginning Saturday, Apr. 3.  This means that public pedestrian access (including residents of River Valley Ranch) is now prohibited at all times on all golf course property. Town of Carbondale law enforcement will be helping to implement this. Please be aware that violators may be cited for trespassing.
RVR Golf will welcome pedestrian traffic back when the golf course closes in the fall.
Pesky Pet Problem
Now that the snow has melted, an ugly (and stinky) problem is emerging. Dog scat is being found throughout the public areas of the community and should serve as a reminder to all pet owners to be responsible and pick up after your dogs!
Dog poop poses a variety of health risks and is very unpleasant to all residents using the walking paths for recreation. Poop bags are provided year round at the regularly serviced waste stations. Please be a good neighbor and dog owner, and pick it up!

Book Signing with
Lisa Dancing Light

RVR resident, Lisa Dancing Light, is an educational specialist and internationally recognized recording artist and composer. She will be offering her first read and book signing event, poolside at the Ranch House, on Friday, Apr. 23 at 4:30 p.m.
Her book, Magic Mountain, an environmentally focused children’s book for ages Pre-K – 3rd grade, is a story about a talking mountain that goes to sleep because people stop coming to hear his stories. When two children come to camp with their parents in the valley of Magic Mountain, they learn about Magic from a wise old owl and decide to journey up the mountain to see if they can awaken him and hear his stories.

This story is an adventure into a special way of listening, of waking up and about the beauty of nature in a changing world.
Registration for this event will be posted next week.

Reminders & Highlights

Masks Still Required

We are so lucky that many RVR residents have received the COVID-19 vaccine! That said, we ask that our members continue to take the recommended precautions while visiting the Ranch House and wear a mask. It may seem counterintuitive, but health officials say that even after you get vaccinated, you still need to practice the usual pandemic precautions, at least for a while. That means steering clear of crowds, continuing to wear a good mask in public, maintaining 6 feet or more of distance from people outside your household and frequently washing your hands.
Click here for information from the CDC website about how to protect others after you have been fully vaccinated.

Ranch House Alarm

The Ranch House security system will be undergoing testing on Thursday, Apr. 8 between 1:30 p.m. & 4 p.m. Ranch House reservations will not be open during this important maintenance and testing of our alarm system.

Vehicle Parking & Storage in RVR

Over the past several weeks we have been featuring important information regarding  the Vehicle Parking, Storage, Operation and Repair portion of our Master Declaration to educate the community on what vehicles are and are not allowed at RVR.
Management will be identifying any parking instances that need to be addressed to gain compliance, as well as answer any questions RVR residents may have regarding their particular vehicle.
Written notices will be given to identify any possible non-compliance’s. We hope to achieve community wide compliance in April to be ready for an active spring and summer. Starting May 1, Notices of Violation and Fines will be issued.

What Changes Must be Reviewed by The DRC?
