Not receiving reminders about when your NESA activity starts?We’re aware of an issue with our registration software where automated reminder messages are not being sent consistently (or at all) for your upcoming NESA activities and programs. Our software development team has been notified, and we’re hopeful for a resolution soon.
In the meantime, here are some ways to keep track of your programs:
- Log in to your online NESA account to view your electronic invoice.
- Call us at 780-496-6969 and we’ll provide you with a list of your programs.
- Record your program dates in a calendar or day planner.
- Visit the front desk to request a printed copy of your invoice, which includes all program details.
We apologize for any inconvenience this software and program glitch has caused, we hope to have this fixed soon.

We are always looking for donations of books, puzzles, jewelry, and unused fabric, yarn, or wool. Recently, we’ve received many items that NESA cannot use or store, such as bedding, clothing, exercise equipment, household items, and personal care products. As a recreation facility, we’re unable to accept these types of donations and kindly ask that they be directed to shelters or organizations in need. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Submissions can be made in person or via email. The nomination submission deadline is October 15, 2025. Awarded individuals will be recognized at the 2026 Annual General Meeting and will be provided with a 2026 NESA Membership or Lifetime NESA Membership.

Edmonton Municipal ElectionOn Monday, October 20, the auditorium will be used for the Edmonton Municipal Election. Programs in the auditorium will be cancelled for the day, and participants will receive a prorated credit to use toward a future program. Parking may be limited with voter traffic throughout the day. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and don’t forget to vote!

Bad Moon Rising: The CCR ExperienceFriday, October 24, 2025 | 5pm-9pm

Remembrance Day TributeFriday, November 7, 2025 | 2pm-4pm
Come join us for a heartfelt Remembrance Day Tribute Tea and Dessert. Let's gather together to honor and remember those who have served our country. Enjoy a warm cup of tea while reflecting on the sacrifices made for our freedom. This in-person event will be a lovely way to pay our respects and connect with our community. Caterology will be serving Cherries Jubilee and Coffee/Tea.

Grocery Gift Cards Did you know that NESA sells grocery gift cards for Sobeys, Safeway, and Save-On Foods? For every grocery card you buy from NESA, our senior's recreation centre earns a small percentage from each card sale. Those funds then go towards our various seniors fundraising initiatives at NESA.
If you are interested in purchasing a grocery gift card, please visit us during our office hours.
