Amy Albritton Grant has joined Baylor University Advancement as Senior Managing Director of Development and Baylor Law School's lead advancement officer. A Baylor graduate, attorney, and experienced philanthropic strategist, Grant brings extensive experience in university advancement and charitable gift planning. In this role, she will help strengthen philanthropic support for Baylor Law School's students, programs, and strategic priorities.

Baylor Lawyers Earn Top Honors at Fifth Circuit Oral Advocacy Competition |

|
Baylor Law School graduates earned top honors at the Fifth Circuit Appellate Oral Advocacy Competition, held June 12 at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans. Tiffani Skroch, JD ’24, competed individually and earned two of the competition’s highest honors, being named Courtroom Champion and Best Advocate in her courtroom. In a separate courtroom, Kristopher Ruiz, JD ’22, and Jessica Cox, JD ’21, competed as a team and were named Courtroom Champions, with Ruiz also earning Best Advocate honors.

Jared Miller Becomes Third Baylor Law School Student in Five Years to Earn State Bar Tax Scholarship |

|
Baylor Lawyer Jared Miller, JD ’26, was honored with the 2026 State Bar of Texas Tax Section Scholarship during his 3L year. The competitive award recognizes law students for academic achievement and a commitment to tax law. Miller is the third Baylor Law student in five years to receive the honor, following Olivia Womack, JD ’25, in 2025 and Tara Smith, JD ’21, in 2021. All three distinguished themselves through Baylor Law’s tax law curriculum and dedication to the field.
