The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship- Deadline: October 1 for Spring 2019. A highly-competitive national fellowship program that provides recent college and graduate school alumni with the opportunity to gain a Washington perspective on key issues of peace and security. Supported by a salary, the fellows serve as full-time junior staff members at the participating organization of their choice.
School of Education
AASA Women in School Leadership Awards- Deadline: October 12.The AASA Women in School Leadership Award program is designed to recognize the exceptional leadership of active, front-line female leaders who are making a difference in the lives of students every day. Three awards are available:
- The Superintendent Award – awarded to any female superintendent.
- The Central Office/Principal Award – awarded to any female central office or building level leader. Equivalent job titles may include: assistant superintendent, central office administrator, school based principal/assistant principal.
- The School Driven Leadership Award – awarded to any female non superintendent/principal in a leadership role. Equivalent job titles may include: Guidance Chair, Supervisor etc.

This webinar for students will provide an overview of the 2019 HACU National Internship Program and provide information on the internship session, application process, deadlines and more.
If you’re a college student interested in securing a paid internship in 2019, submitting your application early is key. The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has federal and corporate partners who are seeking college interns in the spring, summer and fall. Many summer internships require applications to be submitted as early as October 2018.
