All Students Required to Enroll in DUO Security

Cyberattacks against students at universities are becoming more sophisticated with devastating results. To do everything to protect IUP and its students the university will now be requiring all students to use a two-step login process using an application called DUO.

DUO multi-factor authentication strengthens access security by requiring two factors to verify your identity. These factors include something you know (username and password), plus something you have (the DUO app) to approve authentication requests.  

Every IUP student will be required to enroll in and use this service by March 5, 2023. Enrollment instructions to self-enroll will be sent via email on January 23, 2023. Watch this space for additional information. If you have any questions about the process, please contact the IT Department.

Goal Setting

Set at least one academic and one personal goal for the spring semester. Write down your goal and include details related to the objective you hope to achieve, the steps you need to take to achieve the goal, and create a timeline for accomplishing each task.

Empowering Women Series

The Center for Health and Well-Being is coordinating an Empowering Women Series with several university cosponsors. The kickoff event, Women of Power Roundtable, is Wednesday, January 25 from 4:30–6:30 in the Sutton Hall Blue Room.

Dr. Lara Luetkehans, Dr. Patricia McCarthy, Dr. Malaika Turner, and Ms. Elise Glenn will share their insights as to how women can help one another to succeed. Light refreshments will be available, and all are welcome.

There will be five other presentations in the series through the semester.
