Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner
Registration deadline today!
Saturday, September 14 you are invited to join some of your Parkway Hills friends for dinner, but you won’t know who until you show up! How does it work? Register by today, Wednesday, September 11. Look for an email assigning you to a home. The host home will also reach out to you to let you know what to bring (side, dessert, salad, bread). Show up at 5:00 pm and enjoy a night out of food and fellowship!
We need host homes to make this night happen! What does it mean to host? As host, you let us know how many people you can seat at your table so we can assign people. You prepare the main course and provide the drinks. We will get you the list of those attending your home so that you can contact them and let them know what to bring (side, dessert, salad, bread). Be ready to greet and get to know your guests at 5:00 pm Saturday, September 14.

Sunday, September 8, we had the chance to learn more about the impact of our September communion offering. Founder/Director Fred Curry, Director of Children’s Ministries Gabriela Arias, Chief Administrator and chef, Ros Rivera Arias, and worship leader, Johnny Mendoza joined us in worship and shared about the mission and ministry of Rice and Beans. Rice and Beans Ministry is dedicated to bringing hope and joy to children living in poverty in Costa Rica, Brazil, and the United States by feeding families, providing safe housing through construction projects, and aiding in education by providing uniforms and school supplies. We have collected $939.00 to date, but you can give to support this ministry all month online, via our Vanco Mobile app, or in the offering basket throughout September. Visit rabmin.org for more info.
