Summer of Discovery 2020Register, track your participation, earn prizes and enjoy virtual events
Each of us has a story to share, and we connect with each other and build empathy through our stories. Our Summer of Discovery reading program for children, teens and adults runs through August 31. This year’s theme is “Our Connected Stories.” Participate in virtual activities and events, earn fun prizes, and track your summer reading online to keep your family connected. Register and learn more.
Our first week for prize pick-up will be July 26-August 1. Prizes can be picked up at the Arapahoe Ave. entrance of the Main Library and will be pre-bundled by age. Another prize pick-up week will be scheduled for August.

Learn more about our reopening and other services. We're currently offering holds carryout by appointment only and materials return at Main Library and the Meadows Branch Library. The Meadows Branch Library collection is now available for placing holds.
Starting July 20 at Main Library! Extended hours, self-service holds pick up and checkout, and limited access to computers and printers The library will be open for these services Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 12-5 p.m. Questions? Please contact us.

Our Online Library for all ages offers ebooks, audiobooks, movies, music, classes, research resources, and much more.
Coming soon: One Book, One Boulder! Stay tuned for news about our shared reading experience. This year's featured title is "So You Want to Talk About Race," by Ijeoma Oluo. The audiobook is available for unlimited downloads through July, and we'll be offering multiple copies of the book for checkout.

Fight local food insecurity from your garden
Pledge to give a portion of your garden’s harvest to local food pantries through the Grow and Give program. The City of Boulder invites both new and experienced growers to participate in this modern victory garden project to help fight hunger locally.
