Helping Hebrew College's Garden to GrowSpring Event Honoree Nancy Kaplan Belsky
When Nancy Belsky thinks of Hebrew College, she pictures a garden—cultivating rabbis, cantors, and Jewish educators; teen and adult learners; and interfaith and artistic experiences—all in the process of “growing” a more diverse and peaceful world. At its helm is Rabbi Sharon Cohen Anisfeld, with whom Belsky has studied in the “Torah Babes” group for more than a decade . . . .

Rebuilding Toward Holiness
Parashat Acharei Mot (Leviticus 16:1–18:30) By Naomi Gurt Lind, Hebrew College rabbinical student

The past year has wrought personal, communal, and national tragedy such as many of us have not seen in our lifetimes, such as none of us hope ever to see again. While the pandemic raged, injustices long simmering just below the surface of American life have boiled over again and again; averting our gaze has become untenable, immoral.
