Dear Prayer Friend,
Thank you for your prayers!! We can not make an impact on the lives of teenagers without your support and prayers. Here is our friend AJ that we have been working with and praying for, that courageously got up at the FunRaiser to say thank you.
AJ is a junior in high school. At the Young Life FunRaiser, he shared his story. “When I was in middle school I was living without purpose and little did I know God wanted a relationship with me.” He went on to share about meeting a Young Leader at a football game and how that relationship has helped him see God in a different way and grow his confidence. AJ worked hard with his leaders to raise the entire funds to go to go to Lake Champion. He stated, "This was my biggest accomplishment." AJ learned about Jesus' unconditional love at camp and that he didn't have to measure up on Jesus' scoreboard. AJ’s last line: “I'm grateful for my relationship with Jesus, my leaders, and friends at Young Life”
I want you to know that you are a part of AJ's story and one day you will see that more clearly – Thank you!
We leave for Fall Weekend TODAY and will have an opportunity to spend the weekend with kids hearing the Gospel message. Please pray for kids and leaders this weekend! Please pray for
Sierra, Merideth, Alyssa, Emilie, Reba, Rosa, Bridget, Kenzie, Kiara, Kiarelys, Ema, Hanna, Heaven, Mikael, Tristan, and Joseph.
And our leaders: Jack, Tyler, Eric, Meg, Lesley, and me!
Pray that we all grow deeper in our faith, whether that be our leaders or kids that may hear the Gospel for the first time! May we see Jesus more clearly.
Thank you for praying!!! You continually encourage us to go out after the next kid and help kids go deeper in their relationship with Jesus.
