Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
|
I am happy to announce phase two of the CourseLeaf Catalogue Implementation Process. As a reminder, CourseLeaf catalogue is a comprehensive Catalogue Management System that is designed to assist schools and colleges with maintaining their curriculum requirements and policies in an interactive format. You can find the newest version of our catalogue here.
|
The second phase of CourseLeaf implementation will focus on the curriculum management process. The CourseLeaf Curriculum (CIM) module is a course inventory and curriculum management platform, with customized online forms and automated workflows, designed to ensure accuracy across an institution’s courses and programs. CIM will provide a new, efficient and paperless way to create, submit, review and approve curriculum proposals. With CIM, faculty and staff can easily view and manage courses and programs throughout their lifecycle.
|
Some of the benefits of using CIM:
|
- Curriculum process is online — no more paper forms!
-
Course and program forms are dynamic — proposal authors are only presented with questions that are relevant to the type of proposal they are requesting.
- Enhanced communication — authors can see where their proposal is at any point in the process through the workflow status.
-
Makes catalogue edits easy! — Curriculum changes approved in CIM flow into the Catalogue, the module used to produce and publish the University Catalogue.
|
While getting CourseLeaf up and running is a lot of work, when completed, we will enjoy an easy-to-update, consistent catalogue that is integrated with Banner and readily searchable online. We appreciate your assistance learning the system.

Visit New Black Music Book Display
Access Services Librarian David Frank collaborated with Mr. Perry Thompson, founder and executive director of the Rhythm & Blues Preservation Society, to create this display for Black Music Month in June. Mr. Thompson shared his deep knowledge of black music with us and recommended numerous titles for the display, many of which were held at Walsh Library. Library staff supplemented these recommendations with additional book and record selections from our collection. Contact David Frank with any questions.
