Military drone pilots, disaster search and rescue teams, and astronauts stationed on the International Space Station are often required to remotely control robots while maintaining their concentration for hours at a time.
Georgia Tech roboticists are attempting to identify the most stressful periods that human teleoperators experience while performing tasks remotely.

The Minor in Astrobiology will provide a broad, interdisciplinary introduction to the field of astrobiology while encouraging exploration beyond students’ primary fields of study.

AE Postdoctoral Scholar, Ziqin (Grace) Ni Recognized with Inaugural Research Administration & Support Spotlight Award
Five postdocs were named recipients of 2025 Research Administration & Support (RA&S) Spotlight Awards, marking a major milestone in the Institute’s effort to elevate and acknowledge the postdoctoral community as key contributors to Georgia Tech's research enterprise. Ziqin (Grace) Ni was among the five to be selected.
The RA&S Spotlight Award was designed to spotlight staff, research faculty, and postdocs who model Georgia Tech’s core values—excellence, collaboration, and innovation— and exemplify the goals of the Research Next “all Members Contribute” Implementation Team goals.
