Modules 1–3 are now available on your Canvas dashboard and are due by July 31. Module 4, titled Get Ready for Hullabaloo Hello, will open on August 1.

One of the best things about being a Tulanian is the chance to live, learn, and give back in the city of New Orleans. To help celebrate that connection, we're partnering with the Center for Public Service to bring a new service project to Hullabaloo Hello!
|

|
|
During orientation, some students will have the opportunity to assemble hygiene kits, hurricane preparedness kits, and back-to-school supply kits for community partners across New Orleans.
Want to make an impact before you arrive on campus? You can help make this project possible by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List. Every donation will help support individuals and families throughout the city and bring us one step closer to our goal of assembling 100 kits of each type.
Please place your order by July 15 to ensure supplies arrive in time for Hullabaloo Hello.

Beyond service-learning requirements, you'll have countless opportunities to engage with the community throughout the year. The Center for Public Service connects students with meaningful service experiences that create positive change across New Orleans and beyond.
Here are just a few ways to get involved:

A student-led campus-wide day of service, coordinating over 1,000 volunteers at project sites throughout New Orleans. First-years work alongside upperclass peers, faculty, and staff to support the community you'll call home for the next four years.

A year-long systems leadership cohort and the first entry point into Tulane’s Community-Engaged Global Leadership (CEGL) pathway, designed for students who want to strengthen their leadership skills while making a lasting impact through community engagement.
