The House convened today at 2:00 p.m. in a very brief, 45-minute day. The House will return at 11 a.m. Wednesday. No legislation was taken up.
In the Senate, members gathered at 10 a.m. and completed their day in about 35 minutes. No bills were considered. The Senate will return tomorrow at 2 p.m.
The governor's annual "State of the State" address to the legislature is scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. The annual speech, in which governors traditionally outline their legislative goals and budget proposals, may be watched live at: https://www.gpb.org/lawmakers/2024/state-of-the-state
Most committee meetings that have been scheduled have been cancelled.
