The Spanish level II placement exam is a written assessment of a student’s knowledge and mastery of thematic topics and verb tenses covered in Spanish I at Fenwick. There is a vocabulary section, which highlights important words and expressions. In the verb conjugation section, students will demonstrate their abilities in the following tenses: present, present progressive, affirmative and negative commands (familiar and singular), and some preterit. There is also a question and answer portion, where students have the opportunity to show their fluency using their own words.
