As homelessness continues to increase, the work of the National Health Care for the Homeless
Council is more important than ever. Our education, research, training, and advocacy
initiatives and support of health centers, HCH programs, and medical respite programs across
the country depend on the strong leadership of an informed and inclusive Board of Directors.
We rely on our Board to represent Council membership and to guide our efforts in meeting the
needs of our community.
The Council is now accepting nominations for new Board members and officers. Each Board member is eligible to serve up to two two-year terms. Officers generally serve one-year terms. We thank all of those willing to rise to meet the challenges of this difficult, yet rewarding work.
