Community of Practice Resources Now Available! |

A Community of Practice (CoP) recently hosted by GW focused on Rural cancer control. In a six-session “Teatime” series, more than 100 participants and 14 subject matter experts discussed strategies for advancing rural cancer control.
Topics included geographic and workforce challenges, psychosocial support, and tools to strengthen coalition work. You can now access session recordings and a curated list of resources by clicking below.

Tennessee Updated 2025 Pink and Pearl Campaign |
|
|
|
The Tennessee Cancer Coalition Pink & Pearl Campaign aims to raise awareness for both breast cancer and lung cancer screenings throughout the months of October and November. The campaign highlights prevention, early detection, and support for survivors and caregivers, offering a model for how coalitions can address multiple cancer priorities at once. They have delignated Pink and Pearl Day is the first Friday of November
GW TAP has also created ready-to-use visuals to share with providers in your network about combining prevention and screening efforts for breast and lung cancer.
