Jim Brown from the Netter Center Community Advisory Board had his article, "Did Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie use an 'END' around the 'Rooney Rule' not to hire Duce Staley?" published in the Philadelphia Sun on January, 29th. The article regarded the Philadelphia Eagles and its owner Jeffrey Lurie who filled their head coaching vacancy by hiring an unknown, unproven “offensive coordinator” from the Indianapolis Colts named Nick Sirianni.

This year, the Penn Museum is hosting three jazz events designed for all ages and backgrounds. The "Jazz Combos” series is meant to educate and inspire others about the creative nature of jazz. Each event will center around one of following topics: Multigenerational Music, Music and Protest, and Pushing the Limits. 
The first session is on February 28th at 4:30pm. Registration for all events is completely free and everything is virtual. Click HERE to register!

Become a volunteer Philly Reading Coach! PRC combines early reading support, access to books, and community volunteers to boost reading skills for our city’s children. Volunteers can be as young as 14!
