Welcome to the Newest Members of the Brebeuf Jesuit Alumni Community!
| |
Congratulations to the
BREBEUF JESUIT CLASS OF 2026
On Sunday, May 17, we celebrated the Class of 2026 with both our annual Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Ceremony.
For those who were unable to attend, you can click here to watch the recording of our newest Brebeuf alumni walk across the stage!
"
Although it may be said that today the words "Class of 2026" will take on a whole new meaning, I think that the significance for our class was right there with us all along.
Sure, our mindsets and priorities have shifted, but one thing has stayed constant: we celebrate each other’s victories and come together to help when we need it most.
This is what has kept us connected for four years, and will continue to do so beyond high school.

Family Fun Fest 2026: An Inaugural Success!
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, May 9th, for our very first Family Fun Fest! It was a beautiful, sun-drenched day on campus filled with incredible energy and wonderful community building.
We welcomed over 80 alumni, current students, families, and both former and current faculty members.
| |
Here are a few highlights from the day:
Action & Activities: From the 3K run/walk and the kids' Fun Run to the remote-control car racing, there was no shortage of energy.
Creativity: Families loved getting crafty at our special Mother’s Day Creation Station. Bouquets and handmade cards were plentiful.
Lunch & Legacies: We capped off the morning with a tailgate lunch, providing a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with legendary current and past faculty members, including Pat McCarthy, Bill Hicks, Pat Watko, Eric Graham, Sherry Annee, Alan Mensel, Layton Payne Elliott ‘98 and more.
Unbeatable Beats: The atmosphere was kept vibrant and upbeat all morning thanks to amazing music provided by 2026 graduate Ben Karazim also known as DJBK. A HUGE THANK YOU!!
A Special Thank You: This event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors - Children's Resource Group and Resultant. Thank you for helping us bring this vision to life!
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us. We are already looking forward to growing this event in the years to come!

In Memoriam: Susan N. Pratt
Brebeuf Jesuit mourns the loss of former faculty member Susan Nicholson Pratt, who passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026. For several decades, Susan was a cornerstone of the Brebeuf faculty, inspiring generations of students with her love for the French language, global cultures, and the color purple. A devoted Francophile and passionate traveler, she famously brought the world into her classroom through vivid stories and slideshows. Beyond her dedicated service to Brebeuf, Susan was a tireless advocate for the arts, civil rights, and environmental conservation alongside her late husband, Glenn. Remembered for her boundless curiosity, generosity, and her trademark mantra—"I am alive, alert, awake, and enthusiastic about living!"—Susan’s vibrant spirit and legacy of optimism will always remain a cherished part of the Brebeuf community.

Campus Improvements
This summer, Brebeuf is gearing up for a significant, building-wide HVAC construction project to ensure that every single classroom has fully operational, modern heating and cooling by the start of the next school year. The hallways might be a bit noisier than usual over the break, but we are thrilled to continue growing, modernizing, and improving the campus experience for the next generation of the Brebeuf community.
