Toros Helping Toros Greetings Fellow Toros,
I hope this note finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. I am writing to you on behalf of the Alumni Advisory Council to ensure we are staying in touch and to let you know that the Alumni staff is working, albeit remotely, to serve your needs. As you may know, this year marks the 60th anniversary of our university’s founding, and CSUDH continues to change the landscape of our region. Our new dormitories and instruction buildings are paving the way for a new generation of Toros to learn and study.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many students ability to gain their education due to financial stress caused by personal and familial obligations. That is why, I am asking you to join me by donating $60 or more in honor of the university’s anniversary to the Emergency Grant Fund. The Emergency Grant is administered by a group of dedicated faculty and staff who are authorized to grant financial assistance to students who would otherwise find it difficult to continue their education.
To make your donation, please click below or go to www.csudh.edu/onlinegiving and click on the emergency grant button.
As valued members of the Toro alumni family, I ask you to remain connected and continue to stay involved and support your alma mater. Thank you for your dedicated support.
I hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. We will get through this together.
With Toro Pride,
