Computer Science Professor Atriya Sen Awarded NSF Grant for AI Research

Cheng Shi, assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences was awarded a $159,000 Board of Regents grant. Titled "Regulation of somatic aging and lipid metabolism by the hyperactive germline," the 3-year grant was ranked #1 in biology in the state for the research and competitiveness subprogram.

On June 12, Kelly Boyle, assistant professor of Biological Sciences, was featured in the WWL-TV story “Hammerhead Sharks, Bears Surprised Visitors on Gulf Coast Beaches Over The Weekend.”
