Comfort Soup: Inclusivity
Civic Soup: Inclusivity
Thursday, May 2 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. - Main Library

Let’s talk about diversity and inclusivity and how to embody these values in our city. We’ll combine ideas, along with ingredients, to have a communal soup meal.  We’ll also be setting up a button maker to make pins with our preferred pronouns.

The program is part of Building Bridges, a programming collaboration between the city and the community to provide a space to connect and engage in conservations about what impacts our lives.

"In this sweeping epic that spans seven generations and extends from West Africa to the United States, Gyasi takes readers on an emotional, heartbreaking, and ultimately affirming journey. Told in alternating verses, the story follows the lineages of two half-sisters whose family histories connect in unexpected and surprising ways The ending that will break your heart--in the best way." -Celine, Programs

"This is AMAZING for kids!"

-Small library patron upon visiting the Reynolds Branch children's area for the first time

"I could live in my memory of sitting on the library bridge in Seeds Library Cafe, sipping tea and watching fat flakes of snow falling to the creek. Seeds is one of the best spots in all of Boulder."
