What is a personal piece of advice that you lean on and could pass on to others?
Leaders must always be learning and growing, improvement starts with I. As Leaders, we have to be ahead of the needs of our business and the needs of our team.

Best business book you’ve ever read?
No question... 2 Second Lean by Paul Akers. Audio version.

One misstep you took in your business that you could caution others about?
Definitely going it alone for too long. I have a strong do-it-yourself attitude and this kept me siloed for too long as a young entrepreneur. The entrepreneur community is so giving and helpful. Ask questions, we are all figuring this out together.

How do you de-stress after a particularly hard day?
Routine. Family dinner, journaling (I keep a daily improvement journal) and a good book.

What’s something about you that would surprise everyone reading this?
I love art, especially photography. I shoot large format film (4x5 and 8x10). I have a wet darkroom (think red lights, chemicals, and black & white photos).

What part of EO are you most looking forward to this year?
The new Catalyst forums! I moderated a Catalyst forum in 2024 and it was amazing, such a great experience. I learned so much and my forum was filled with incredible folks.

Any exciting plans for 2025?
Yes! I am off to Japan in May for a Lean Thinking study mission and headed to Argentina in August for the worldwide 2 Second Lean conference.
