Important Calendar Notes

  • Monday, September 7: Labor Day - No School
  • Tuesday, September 8: Late Start with classes beginning at 10:10 a.m. with RED block. Purple block classes will not meet.
  • Wednesday, September 9: A "Day in the Life" has always been a highly attended and enjoyable evening for our parents. Valor Concussion Protocol

As part of the concussion (brain trauma) protocol for Valor students, please adhere to the following steps:
  • Follow the directions of the Valor Athletic Training Staff if the injury occurs as part of a Valor activity. The trainers will guide you when consultation with a medical provider is needed.
  • If the injury occurs outside of a Valor activity/event, please reach out to a medical provider. Please request paperwork from your visit.
  • Following contact with a doctor, please reach out to your student's Academic and College Counselor. Counselors will work with your student and his or her teachers to develop an academic support plan.
  • A physical and cognitive recovery plan is imperative to full, long term recovery from the injury.
  • Read this informative resource about concussions.
