"Becoming Colorado: The Centennial State in 100 Objects" by William Wei
"This book explores our state's long history through 100 museum items. From prehistoric arrowheads and baskets to the fad cultural phenomenon of Crocs, you can open to any page and learn something neat about the wonderful place we call home. You can visit the collection at the History Colorado Center in Denver to see these objects up close and personal!"

Library Stories
“One of my friends told another by the campfire that she loves how she can just pop into the Main Library, visit the Staff Picks kiosk, and come away with three books that she knows will be good. 'They always have something there whether I want something serious or something fluffy.' I was pleased to pipe in and tell her that new ones would be arriving soon.” — Terzah, Librarian at Main
"At the Teen Space at Main, I overheard a visitor saying that they love coming to the library and Teen Space because we are so welcoming of the LGBTQIA+ community.” — Katie, Youth Specialist at Main
“A woman was standing in the George Reynolds Branch lobby looking at the Pride Flags and said, 'It's really great that the library does Pride Month. I really appreciate it.’ And then her partner came into the library to join her. It just made me feel like we're doing the right things here.” — Stella, Branch Library Specialist
