Dear YMCA Sport Families,
We thank you for your patience over the last two weeks as we paused our Fall II youth sports season due to COVID-19 guidelines. Last week we learned that the City and County of Denver extended the restrictions on youth sports into mid-December.
Here's what that means for you and your athlete:
- The Fall II season leagues and classes will be completely cancelled.
- The Y is offering a 70% credit of your Fall II sports registration fees which will be added to your Y account. This credit can be applied to your next sports season or other YMCA programming.
We know this cancellation is disappointing. Our families and program participants are important to us.
Meanwhile, you have the opportunity to stand out and help the Y.
Please consider donating your sports season credit back to the Y and help us do more to serve our communities during this challenging time.
By donating your program credits or payments, you help the Y address food insecurity, senior isolation and critical child care for working parents. Your fees become a tax-deductible donation to the YMCA and you will receive a letter indicating the amount you donated.
Now more than ever, our community needs you. Your donations can help ensure the Y is here and always ready to serve.
We are all in this together, so please stand with the Y.
If you have any further questions, please contact the YMCA Solution Center at
solutioncenter@denverymca.org or call (720) 524-2700. Call center hours are Mon.-Fri. 6:30 - 10 a.m. and 3:30 - 7 p.m.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
