Christmas Tree SaleDate: Saturday, Dec. 1
Time: 8-10 a.m.
Location: Dakota Lodge
A limited number of trees will be available to Ken-Caryl residents on a first come, first served basis for the annual Christmas Tree Sale. Rangers are requesting donations (cash or check only) in exchange for the trees. The recently cut Douglas Firs and Ponderosa Pines are more "natural" in shape than trees found in Christmas tree lots and remain fresh and fragrant for the season. The removal of the small-diameter trees in the Ken-Caryl open space reduces overcrowding and eliminates ladder fuels, which can carry fire into a forest canopy. If you have any questions, contact the Rangers at 303-979-1876, ext. 170.
