UO EVENTS
The Outdoor Program is leading a snowshoeing trip in the Cascades this Saturday. All gear provided. To sign up, go to the required pre-trip meeting in the OP Rental Barn tonight, 5:00 p.m.
Connect the Ducks' Trivia Night in the EMU will be pop culture themed on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 6:00–7:00 p.m. Free for UO students.
Winners of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Award will be celebrated with a ceremony and luncheon next Thursday, Jan. 16 in the EMU ballroom. RSVP required.
The sign-up form for the What's Up With Whiteness identity reflection retreat is now open. The retreat will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Lunch will be served.

Students are invited to the tuition forum Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 6:00 p.m. in the EMU Redwood Auditorium. The forum, co-hosted by the ASUO and the Tuition and Fee Advisory Board, will discuss the concept of guaranteed tuition and solicit questions from students. Food will be provided.
Volunteers at the Duck Nest will be available Tuesday, Jan. 14 to help students apply for SNAP food benefits and discuss food security initiatives on campus.
Free fresh produce will be available for students to take home from the EMU Amphitheater next Tuesday, Jan. 14, 3:00–5:00 p.m.
There will be a free Rudra Meditation session in the Duck Nest today 5:00–5:30 p.m., complete with instruction, meditation, and a time for questions.
Tonight at Whirled Pies there will be an OMSI Science Pub discussion about the science of language and communication.
Friday mornings, 9:00–11:00 a.m., the Center for Student Involvement has free coffee and involvement coaching to help you find a club or organization on campus.
You can register now to volunteer on January 20 with Holden Center's MLK Day of Service.
The UO Bike Program is supporting your winter commute with free refreshments, bike lights, and minor bike repairs Tuesday through Thursday as part of Bike Appreciation Week.

You can initiate a student trip to Hoodoo through the Outdoor Program Common Adventure program and get a free lift ticket and lunch.
