It offers focused online programs and free webinars from eminent legal scholars and industry experts.

The Behind Bars Data Project has published the first comprehensive dataset of deaths in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody. It offers detailed insights on the nearly 300 people who have died since 2003.

The distinguished alumni have pledged $2 million to endow a chair in constitutional law to enhance UCLA Law’s strength in this important area of legal education.

Mariana Viviescas Maldonado LLM ’26 and María Paula Herrera Duque LLM ’26 met as law school classmates at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia 11 years ago. “We started as classmates, became close friends, and then we started dating. We’ve been together ever since,” says Herrera Duque.

Erwin Chemerinsky, UC Berkeley Law's dean, visited UCLA Law on March 18 to deliver the annual Melville B. Nimmer Memorial Lecture. His talk was titled, "When Is a Constitutional Right Infringed? Incidental Burdens and the First Amendment.”
