KHCA News for November 2016
With all of the dramatic events of the last week, we're looking for a little peace, quiet, and good will in the neighborhood during the rest of this month. With that in mind, we just have two items for this month's KHCA news. We'll be back with the regular KHCA Newsletter in early December.
KHCA Happy Hour #3 at Bar Louie, Friday November 18 at 5pm to ?
Let's have one more meeting of friends in KHCA before the holiday season hits with full force! Come join the early birds at 5pm or drop in later on your way home from work. We'll try to anchor the corner section on the right as you come in the front door. And, if anyone wants to head downstairs to the movie theater, you can enjoy the wonderful fully reclining seats. Just remember to get a good rest the night before so you don't find yourself snoring through the main feature!
13th Annual Nighthawks Benefit Concert Kensington City Hall, Wednesday November 23 at 7-11pmAs a reminder that there is still much for us to be thankful for and as a way to help those who are in need at this time of year, it's the 13th annual concert by Kensington's own Nighthawks.
$10 minimum donation requsted -- cash, grocery store gift cards, or donations of nonperishable food items all gratefully accepted. Come join your friends, and work up an appetite on the dance floor for the Turkey Day Dinner on Thursday.
