Giving Tuesday 2021 Update & End of Year Giving

Thank you for your generosity! We raised $2,100 this Giving Tuesday.  With this money, we can support the cost of materials for two students over a year.
We need to raise an additional $10,000 by the end of the calendar year. Every dollar donated between now and the end of the year will be MATCHED, up to $10,000. Your gift today will help ensure our continued success. Please give if you can.

We know your time and your finances are precious. Thank you for investing in our learners. Your donations have a ripple effect as our students (our neighbors!) learn our language and become part of our community.

New Tutor Trainings Dates

We have new information sessions and tutor training session available. Our student waitlist is growing, and we'd love to train new volunteers to help meet the needs of the adults who come to us for assistance. The new year is the perfect time to invest in becoming a tutor.
Information sessions are one-hour workshop to learn more before committing to a training. Our next sessions are:
  • Dec 14: 10:00-11:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
  • Jan 11: 10:00-11:00 a.m. or 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Training sessions are three 2-hour zoom sessions to equip volunteers for tutoring. Volunteers can tutor online, in-person, or a combination of both. Our next session is:
  • January
    • January 20, January 27, February 3
