| AE School's Undergraduate Program Ranks No. 2 in the Nation |
The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering’s (AE School) undergraduate program remains No. 2 in the nation and No.1 among public institutions, according to the 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Undergraduate Programs rankings. This marks the 10th consecutive year the AE School has placed in the top two programs.

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) recently announced that AE School professors Koki Ho and Kai James have been elected to the 2025 Class of Associate Fellows.Â

Georgia Tech’s eight-person team, AeroLay, secured first place in the undergraduate category at the Vertical Flight Society’s (VFS) 41st Annual Student Design Competition (SDC), sponsored by DEVCOM Army Research Lab. Team Horus won second place in the graduate category.Â
