Hevolution Foundation Geroscience Research Opportunities (HF-GRO) Deadline: April 26, 2024 HF-GRO will provide up to $25 million USD in 2024 (the total budget planned over 5 years is $115M USD) to fund projects in Aging Biology or Geroscience (no clinical trials). Hevolution envisions funding approximately 40-60 projects in Aging Biology or Geroscience in 2024. Projects are 4 to 5 years in length, and with a budget range of $300-500k USD direct costs/year; Funding will be made available to independent investigators with labs in the USA, Canada, Europe and the UK.
a2 Pilot Awards Deadline: April 30, 2024 The fourth annual a2 Pilot Awards competition will include an additional biology of aging focus area alongside existing topic areas of interest. Prospective applicants are encouraged to view the recording of the a2 Pilot Awards Round 1 Q&A Webinar for additional details on this topic area as well as guidance from AITC principal investigators on preparing a strong Round 1 application.
Annual NIA Summer Training Course in Experimental Aging Research Deadline: July 8, 2024 The 31st Annual Summer Training Course provides intense exposure to current concepts in experimental aging research to approximately 20 research scientists to facilitate development of independent research programs in the basic biology of aging.
