Revised Patient Navigator Training Guide Available
The GW Cancer Center recently released a fully updated online training, Oncology Patient Navigator Training: The Fundamentals, designed to provide a foundation of knowledge for all patient navigators who work with people affected by cancer. Within one month of releasing our free training, over 700 navigators and other learners had enrolled!
We are now pleased to announce that the accompanying guide (PDF) is available online! It does not replace the course but is offered as a complement to enrich and reinforce key takeaways. The guide can assist those taking the course, or those who need a reference or refresher to improve the lives of those affected by cancer. Check it out today!
National Cancer Survivors Month is right around the corner! Our toolkit offers evidence based, CDC approved data and easy-to-use downloadable social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (formeraly Twitter). Download the graphics with the click of a button!
There's still time to use our toolkit this month for Melanoma and Skin Cancer Awareness Month! The toolkit provides ready-to-post social media content to raise awareness about melanoma and skin cancer, and to focus on research into their cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
We are currently in the process of revising and updating this toolkit and will share the revised version upon completion.
