Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff
"Cleopatra's world seems to come to life in the mind of the reader. Geographies and personalities alike are explored in detail. The writing is like that found in a good novel and provides the basis for a unique description of a famous historical figure."

"I just want to say that it's wonderful that if you want to take a break from the world you can always find something to check out in the library. It's a good use of tax dollars" -George Reynolds Branch Patron
Our Summer of Discovery was a stunning success. Over 3,000 children and teens participated, and over 900 adults joined the program in its inaugural year for adults. We wrapped up Summer of Discovery with the Boulder SummerFest at Main Library. Over 2,000 people of all ages attended. Thanks to SummerFest's dedicated planners and volunteers, and their recycling efforts, this giant event generated only one bag of trash! We hope you'll join us for next year's Summer of Discovery.
Many of our events are generously funded by the
Boulder Library Foundation.
