YWCC Students Score First Place at BSides NYC Pros v Joes
Congratulations to Al Simpson, a CyberCorps Scholarship for Service student, who captained his team, which included fellow NJIT student Mahmoud Ezat, to FIRST PLACE at the BSides NYC Pros v Joes competition. The event involves security, hacking and privacy challenges between Joes (students and professionals) and experts in the field. Simpson's Sha0l1n-Shadow-Stealers team managed to stand up their networks, defend them, and attack other networks to victory.
