Vibha Venkataraman ’26 (Data Science) and Tina Thai ’26 (Computer Science) will have added their respective first and second place wins during this year’s national Bank of America (BOA) Codeathon to an already impressive list of achievements when they graduate in May.

YWCC Student–Faculty Team Wins Best Presentation Award for Ant Swarm Simulation

Assistant Professor Tomer Weiss and Matthew Loges ‘25 earned a best presentation award for their research paper titled “Simulating Ant Swarm Aggregations Dynamics" at the ACM SIGGRAPH Symposium for Computer Animation (SCA), and a qualifying poster nomination for the undergraduate research competition at the 2025 ACM SIGGRAPH conference.

Suresh Kumar Appointed to NJ-India Media Commission

YWCC congratulates Suresh Kumar, senior university lecturer and director of entrepreneurial programs, on his appointment by Governor Phil Murphy to the NJ-India Commission effective immediately in recognition of his work as president of TiE-NJ. Tie-NJ is one of the leading organizations promoting trade and talent flows between India and NJ.
