Get to Know the Cabrini Campus! | |
This is an exciting time to be a Villanovan! In the coming months, as the University continues to prepare to open the Cabrini Campus in August 2026, we will share information with your Villanovan and with our rising sophomore families. Our Guide to Sophomore Living will be mailed home in November so that, together, you can review housing and living opportunities. As students return from Thanksgiving Break, we will host in-person Housing Selection Information Sessions, as well as campus tours for students beginning in January of 2026.

Spring Semester Course Registration |
First-year student course registration for the Spring semester will take place in November. The Office of the Registrar will assign every student a date and time to begin their registration. This information will be posted in your student's MyNova portal. Prior to this date, there are a few things that you can encourage your Wildcat to do so they are registration ready!
- Attend a “Get Registration Ready” workshop hosted by the Office of Registrar (each of the colleges will host these events prior to class registration).
-
Visit Degree Works in MyNova to audit their classes so far.
- Create registration plans in MyNova (it's always helpful to have a couple of plans in place in case preferred classes/times fill).
-
Schedule a meeting with their academic advisor. This meeting is required and should be used to review academic plans, secure course selection approval and receive their pin to register for classes.

On- and Off-Campus Events |
Not only does Villanova host events on campus throughout the week for your Wildcat, there are also great off-campus outings hosted by the Campus Activities Team (CAT)! Events like a recent Flyers vs. Penguins hockey game and trip to Hersheypark are shared with students in a weekly email from the Office of Student Involvement entitled "This Week on Campus" and through Instagram accounts like @villanovacat and @villanovaosi. Many events are popular with our students of all class years, so if your Wildcat is looking for some unique experiences, encourage them to connect with CAT and Student Involvement!

... we have resources for families?
The University Counseling Center has curated a list of helpful resources for families as they support their Wildcats. Visit their website to explore some of these helpful materials. Our Title IX Office also has resources to guide families when discussing healthy relationships and sexual violence prevention with their Villanovans.
... we can help students find faith communities?
Villanovans are encouraged to find their faith community. They can explore or deepen their connection with Catholicism or discover other faith communities on campus and in our surrounding area. Students can contact Julie Sheetz, Mission and Ministry’s Director of Multifaith Ministry, to learn more about other congregations in the area, get help with transportation and more.
