Advent is a time of spiritual preparation to make ready for the coming of the Lord!  Begin your preparation as a family this year, by joining us in the Worship Center for our Advent Celebration, Sunday, November 29th at 3:00 pm. $10 per family will cover the supplies to make your Advent Wreath. There will be other crafts as well, along with cookies and a hot chocolate bar!

Would you like to adopt a child for the holidays through MadCAAP?  These children have parents who have completed 12 hours of educational classes through the MadCAAP 'New Attitudes' program in order to make better lives for their families.  There is a table set up in the foyer of the Worship Center with names and wish-lists, or contact Nan Moak to provide for a child this year.
At the conclusion of his 10-week course on World Religions and in the shadow of recent events, Harry Gilmer wrote an essay that he shared with the Wednesday night group and later with his Sunday School class.  It was a great conversation starter, and we thought you might all like to read it.  For the entire essay: CLICK HERE.
Beacon's Brunch- NEXT WEDNESDAY

Can you believe it is already December?  Join us next Wednesday, (and on the first Wednesday of every month), to share brunch, coffee, and conversation!  This relaxed setting makes it easy to get to know others in our church family.  Feel free to bring friends!
