Bringing the Power of Virtual Reality to Help Animals
ARC is working with Animal Equality to bring their iAnimal experience to the Twin Cities. iAnimal uses cutting-edge virtual reality technology to give viewers an immersive look at the life cycle of farmed animals, from birth to death. With its 360° view, virtual reality is a powerful tool to educate and create awareness around issues that affect farmed animals. If you're as excited about the potential of this technology to help animals as we are, email Chelsea or Katie to volunteer for our VR team.

Rosevillle Bans Sale of Non-Rescue Dogs and Cats in "Pet" Stores
Roseville, Minnesota has banned the sale of dogs and cats in pet stores from commercial breeders! Thanks to everyone who attended ARC protests at the Har Mar Mall, where the Har Mar Pet Store is located. You made a difference by helping to bring the issue of pet stores selling animals from commercial breeding facilities (puppy and kitten mills) to the public's attention. See the Fox 9 news story which shows footage from an ARC demonstration at Har Mar last summer. To keep the momentum going, watch the Minnesotans Exposing Petland Facebook page for upcoming protests at Petland St. Paul and other stores that sell non-rescue animals.
