Food Pantry Distribution - Beginning at 9:30am
Reformation Book Club - We are reading Philip Yancey’s classic, What’s So Amazing About Grace? 9:00am in Pastor Tom’s office. We will be covering chapters 11-15.

Adult Education - Sunday Morning Adult Education offers two options for Sundays in November:
  • “Word & Sacrament: The shape of our worship life” led by Pastor Steve in the Community Center
  • “Free to Be: An Introduction to the Lutheran Christian Faith” led by Pastor Tom in his office. Group limited to 12 participants. Signup on the Connect Wall or by contacting Pastor Tom.
Sunday School - 9:45am 
Welcome Pastor Troy! - Following our 11:00am service, we will have an informal reception and potluck in the Parish Hall to visit with retired former pastor (1988-2009), Troy Mooneyham, who currently lives in Minnesota. He is eager to greet his dear friends of Bethesda. Hospitality team will provide rolls and beverages.
FEAST WITH US!
Friday, November 16th
Join us this month as we give thanks, gather and take part in a huge feast with our neighbors and friends. This is a FREE event; open to everyone. We will be serving turkey and all the trimmings to hundreds!
Tommy Parker is once again putting together a concert for us. It will be fantastic!

BETHEL BOUTIQUE
Thank you to all the volunteers and attendees who made our Craft Fair a success! We raised $1000 to help restock the Bethel Boutique, because over 140 students have shopped since August.
A special thank you to our baker who made 5 Maple Pecan Rings, 11 Danish Almond Skillet Cakes, 6 Swedish Kladdkakas, and 3 batches of Pralines. You might be able to sweet talk him into baking you an Almond Skillet Cake for Christmas parties... proceeds from all this baking went towards the Bethel Boutique.
FAIR TRADE
In addition to coffee, tea, and chocolates we have a great selection of recycled paper beaded jewelry from Uganda. Your purchase supports women working their way out of poverty. Stop by our table in the main entryway.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Return your boxes by November 11th. Check out the Samaritan's Purse website for ideas and more information. Donations towards shipping costs can be made either online or in the enclosed envelope accompanying the boxes.
