Spotlight: CHKD Aerodigestive Clinic |
Since 2019, CHKD's Aerodigestive Clinic has provided intensive diagnostic work-ups for children suffering from chronic cough and dysphagia with underlying comorbidities. Our multi-disciplinary approach allows patients and families to meet with a comprehensive team of providers—including an otolaryngologist, pulmonologist, gastroenterologist, and speech-language pathologist—during their initial visit to discuss concerns and create a collaborative diagnostic plan. The aerodigestive team continues to provide care and case management support until an underlying diagnosis and/or a treatment plan is created that can be effectively managed in a siloed approach.

The King’s Daughters Milk Bank at CHKD is a nonprofit, hospital-based donor milk bank established to provide the life-saving benefits of human milk to severely premature and critically ill infants, improving their potential to survive and thrive. During the summer months, donation levels often decline, so any contributions received during this time make an even greater impact.
