Governor Wolf Announces Real Estate Industry May Conduct Limited Business Transactions Statewide

Governor Tom Wolf has announced that effective immediately, businesses and employees in the real estate industry may conduct limited business-related activities statewide. Along with the announcement, the Governor provided guidance for this industry to operate in red phase and yellow phase counties. PAR has been working hard behind the scenes toward this goal and is actively updating their FAQ’s and forms to reflect the May 19th guidance. Please stay tuned to PAR and SWRA COVID-19 pages and Association social media for updated information in the next few days and weeks.

Local Market Statistics Reports Published for April

Suburban West continues to help members communicate the latest real estate market conditions in the area with a set of Monthly Residential Market Reports for area school districts and counties. Recently these reports have evolved to offer even more data and commentary. With the assistance of Bright MLS, these reports utilize the power of SmartCharts to offer both embedded graphs on dedicated pages for counties and school districts as well as a Local Market Insight Report for each county and district that can be downloaded and utilized with clients. Access the most recently published monthly reports for April here.
Please note that an assortment of reports are also available to all Bright MLS members at www.brightmls.com. Once logged in to the site, click the Market Research tab to access the various reports. If you have questions or requests, please contact Steve Farace.

SWRA Webinar Archive Updated With New Presentations

The SWRA Webinar Series has provided members access to a variety of topics delivered conveniently to attendees virtually. Suburban West has developed this education opportunity to provide more members an opportunity to learn about the issues impacting the industry and the best practices that can keep you at the center of transaction.
While members can connect live to the webinar and interact with the presenter, the Association realizes that members schedules may prevent them from this. Thus, members can access recordings of webinars 24/7 through our Webinar Series Archive. The following presentations have been recently added and are available to view:
