A FRESH TAKE ON THE FOURTH
The countdown is on for Lincoln City’s first-ever drone show, and excitement is building. This innovative Fourth of July celebration will feature 200 LED-lit drones in a colorful and choreographed display above Siletz Bay, offering a visually stunning and environmentally responsible alternative to traditional fireworks. The shift reflects years of community feedback concerning safety, wildlife, veterans, pets, wildfire risk and firework regulations.
Lincoln City’s decision to embrace this new format has already gained national attention, recently highlighted in The Washington Post and earning recognition across the country for leading the way in reimagining holiday celebrations.

NEW THIS SUMMER: BIOSPHERE BEACH AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Explore Lincoln City is excited to support the new Biosphere Beach Ambassador Program through the Community Partnership Fund. Throughout the summer, stationed at the 15th Street beach access point, local naturalist Josh Havelind will be out connecting with visitors - sharing fascinating facts about our tidepools, marine life, and the unique ecosystems along our coast.
