Garff Building Dedication

On Friday, October 5, the David Eccles School of Business dedicated the Robert H. and Katharine B. Garff Buidling, a 150,000 square foot building that houses the school's four MBA programs, institutes, centers, and staff and faculty offices. The building came to fruition because of the generosity of more than 350 donors, led by a $12 million donation from the children of the philanthropic Garff family to honor their parents. Spencer Fox Eccles Convocation 2018

The David Eccles School of Business hosted the 28th annual Spencer Fox Eccles Convocation and had the pleasure of hosting the honorable keynote speaker, Gail Miller, Owner of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. Miller discussed her challenges and triumphs as she evolved from a housewife and stay-at-home mom to successfully owning and running 60 car dealerships, the Utah Jazz, the Salt Lake Bees, Megaplex Theatres, and employing more than 10,000 people. Eccles School Faculty are currently conducting a groundbreaking research study to analyze workplace experiences.
