English alumna Christina Andrade Melly named 2023 Missouri Teacher of the Year

Christina Andrade Melly, an English and language arts teacher at Ritenour High School, was named the 2023 Missouri Teacher of the Year. Melly attended the Ritenour School District as a student and her experience compelled her to pursue a career in public education.

Join UMSL College of Education current and former students and community partners to hear research presentations from recent graduates of the UMSL COE Doctoral Programs. Hear from a former doctoral student sharing a remembrance about Dr. Davis, his work and legacy. Network with fellow educators and community members all of whom carry on the legacy of Dr. Davis.
