NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 8, 2017)—John Pisciotta, president & CEO of Jetpack Artist Ventures, is pleased to announce the firm has renewed its management agreement with country recording artist Zach Stone. Addressing, and in-keeping-with, Stone’s career growth and momentum over the last 12 months, the Nashville firm has expanded its management team.
On Board The Jetpack Artist Ventures/Zach Stone Team:
Jeff McMahon [2001 ACM “Musician of the Year” nominee and long-time keyboardist with Tim McGraw] will serve as band manager. Scott Welch (Scott Welch Management, Inc.) will handle Stone’s tour management. Welch has been instrumental directing and managing the careers of such notables as Green Day, Alanis Morissette, LeAnn Rimes, Collective Soul, Steve Perry, Vince Vaughn, Jim Carrey and others. His investor and board roles include MP3.com and StubHub Inc.-- a ticketing venture purchased by eBay for more than $300 million. John Pisciotta, president of Jetpack Artist Ventures, will continue to oversee day-to-day operations and sponsor/endorsement ventures.
Zach Stone, a Texas native and former Team USA all-star who gave up his baseball dreams to pursue a music career, graduated with a Music Degree from the prestigious Belmont University (alma mater to award-winning, country music trendsetters Josh Turner, Trisha Yearwood, Brad Paisley and more). Stone caught Pisciotta’s attention at Belmont’s “Best of The Best” (in an industry showcase that spotlights the most promising talent from a pool of more than 8000 students); the manager immediately signed Stone to a development deal.
"It is rare to work with an artist like Zach. He has not only the talent to be very successful and an impeccable work ethic, Zach has heart. He treats people with genuine respect,” said Welch. “This combination will be the foundation Zach’s Stone’s success to become a career artist."
The team’s primary objective for 2017-2018 is to enhance, and cater to, the overall artist growth strategy (encompassing songwriting and touring as primary) for the rising country star.
Zach’s musical pursuit is both extraordinary and inspiring; he was born with Brachydactyly (an underdevelopment of fingers or hands at birth). Overcoming what most might view as a life disability, Stone has drawn an uncanny determination and strength from his condition. In addition to his music concentration, he is moved to counsel children with similar issues; he and his family helped to establish Hand Camp (in partnership with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children).
