Congratulations to the CHIPS team,
along with these members of AFSA! |
CHIPS has been featured on the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) website as one of the three pioneering programs to pilot the human simulation standards and receive accreditation in human simulation. Helping shape the future of healthcare simulation has always been at the forefront of CHIPS, and the recognition of their hard work by the SSH is testament to the efforts put forward by everyone in the CHIPS team. Carriann Bingham, Venus Claxton, Eliane Pater, Jean Perdicaris, and Veronica Reliford-Thomas began training in our new HR/financial system, DASH. In addition to attending training sessions, they actively contributed to the development, review, and refinement of business processes and training materials that now support AFSA employees.
DASH officially launched on January 6, 2025. The AFSA Business Staff played a vital role in its implementation across all AFSA units. They participated in biweekly DASH meetings, raised critical issues, and provided ongoing training and support to both employees and management. Their commitment has been instrumental in supporting this transition. As we approach year-end, the team continues to monitor DASH entries daily to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
Through their dedication to this assignment, Carriann, Venus, Eliane, Jean, and Veronica have consistently demonstrated exceptional teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to AFSA’s mission.
