Literary Sojourn’s 25th annual festival of authors will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 and we are delighted to announce some exciting changes! The 2017 event will be held at the beautiful Strings Pavilion located between downtown Steamboat Springs and the base of the ski area. The Pavilion offers:
  • Reserved seating. You will be able to select your seat when you purchase your ticket(s) online.
  • Comfortable theater-style seating, where everyone has a great view.
  • Larger venue with more seating.
  • Ample parking and restrooms.

Early ticket benefit for Donors

As in the past, we are delighted to offer our donors the opportunity to purchase tickets for this sell-out event in advance of the general public. Donor pre-sale tickets will go on sale in June (official date will be announced via email this winter). Attendees will be able to purchase an early ticket with a reserved seat and make a donation to the nonprofit Literary Sojourn in one transaction. This system will simplify and replace the Guild membership deadlines of years past.
Donor pre-sale tickets will cost $150 ($75 ticket + $75 donation). Limit 4 tickets per person.
If you have already donated $75+ and joined the Guild for 2017’s event, we will send you special instructions on how to purchase your $75 pre-sale ticket. You will also be able to purchase up to 3 more reserved, donor pre-sale tickets ($150 each) at the same time.

Charitable contributions are essential to sustain the festival’s extraordinary level of excellence – a reputation that garners national and international admiration among authors, publishers and readers alike. All donations go directly toward the costs of bringing the best and brightest writers of our day to Steamboat Springs. Click here to donate.
