Message from the
Vice President

Winter is here and our students are back at Indiana State. Every semester brings with it a chance to start over. For some, it’s the chance to focus on New Year resolutions, for others it’s a chance to continue the great work from the prior semester. For this new year, I will be focusing on how we can improve the lives of our students and help them reach their full potential. I am in constant awe of the resiliency of our students. Many face tough life obstacles, that many of us would describe as daunting and insurmountable. However, what motivates a lot of our students is their love for education and the opportunities they have found at Indiana State.
I hope that we can continue to provide those opportunities for our students and help them reach their full potential. And I hope that you will share in my commitment to help transform the lives of our students at Indiana State.
Happy New Year and I wish you nothing but the best in the coming year.
All my best,
WB
Dr. Willie L. Banks, Jr.
Vice President for Student Affairs
