On Thursday, October 30, at 6:30–8 p.m. in Barnum Hall LL26, students can learn about film and media production! FMS senior honors thesis students will be pitching their spring projects and looking for crew. This networking event is open to all levels of experience and interests (film production, costumes, hair and makeup, etc.).

Losing Control of Campus Landscapes |
Join us for a thought-provoking talk with Mark Bomford as he explores the paradoxes of care and control in campus landscapes. He invites us to imagine campuses not as spaces of control, but as living laboratories for adaptive futures. Later that day, Bomford will speak at The University Ecologies special event that invites community members to learn about the history of the Pollinator Initiative and explore its future direction at 2:30 p.m., followed by a discussion at 4:30 p.m. in Alumnae Lounge.

ALTEREDSTATES 2025 is taking place in the TTC on Saturday, November 1, at 10 a.m.–6 p.m. This interdisciplinary conference brings together leading voices from anthropology, medicine, psychology, and religion to explore how collaboration can inform the responsible integration of psychedelic therapies into modern healthcare. Featuring structured networking times and a career panel, this conference is ideal for students interested in exploring how to get involved in psychedelic medicine.

The Advising Period Begins Monday, October 27
Please remember to reach out and schedule an appointment with your Major Advisor, Pre-Major Advisor, or designated Senior Academic Advisor to plan for your spring 2026 courses and to have your Registration HOLD lifted. Spring 2026 courses will go live and be available on SIS on October 27. Familiarize yourself with upcoming registration dates and deadlines by visiting the Academic Calendar.
